Patricia A. Rogers
Patricia A. Rogers is the marketing and communications director for VIS and brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of corporate communications, marketing, and program management. At VIS, she plans and executes all communications projects and participates in new marketing endeavors, including delivering presentations and developing marketing strategies.
Her communications experience includes writing for internal and external clients and developing content for Web sites, marketing brochures, print ads, press releases, intranets, white papers, multimedia presentations, and trade show events. Her program management experience includes managing DoD technical programs in excess of $11 million, while consistently achieving corporate growth and profitability. She has expertise in research and analysis, strategic planning, policy development and team building to achieve programmatic goals and profitable work units.
Ms. Rogers recently worked as the communications manager at Maden Tech Consulting, Inc., where she worked directly with the CEO and upper management in developing corporate marketing materials, press releases, presentations, Web content, print ads, product sheets, and trade show materials for the parent company and its four subsidiary companies. She also developed technical guides, manuals, and client-related publications. She performed analysis and contributed to technical white papers and was responsible for developing the corporate intranet. In addition, she coordinated and wrote technical proposals in response to federal, state, and local government RFPs and RFQs. She also developed corporate work summaries and responded to Blanket Purchase Order requests.
Previous to working with Maden Tech, she was the senior data configuration manager on Lockheed Martin's Global Command and Control System program for the U.S. Army, where she managed all software configuration changes on this large production system. She also led the technical review of more than 40 software technical manuals that support the system. Other positions held include vice president of Stone Webb Advertising and Publishing (a company that she co-founded), program director at Resource Consultants, Inc., and program manager at MANTECH, International.
Ms. Rogers has a B.A. degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland.
