GSA Schedule
Under GSA Schedule GS-35F-0176M, VIS offers the following three pre-negotiated labor categories:
Technical System Specialist - Possesses in-depth technical and business knowledge of specific business mission needs and IT environment. Typically performs the following tasks:
- Application evaluation and enhancement
- Large database tuning (Oracle and Sybase)
- Complicated programming assignments
Senior Programmer - Works closely with business process managers and system users to creatively solve technical programming issues. Typically performs the following tasks:
- Software engineering
- Rapid application software development
- Database administration
- Business process automation
- Business application programming
Project Manager - Has excellent interpersonal demeanor and a software development background. Typically performs the following tasks:
- Manages client relations
- Reviews current tasks and determines number of hours necessary for completion
- Performs product management and quality assurance
- Translates complicated issues into simple choices
- Develops work breakdown structures
- Develops executive-level status reports and briefings
